CH Wenrick's Hollywood's Chosen Chosen at 5 months... Chosen... A New Champion Chosen's pedigree Chosen was my very first Champion. Here is a poem I wrote for her. That First Champion When the breeder held you up for me to see, All I could saw was a fuzzy puppy. She showed me teeth, your head and eyes, My head was spinning as we said good-byes. We took you home and you won my heart, So we started to pray and decided to start. We washed and trimmed and trained and more, We also played and ran outdoors. Your coat grew long, and it did shine, I was so proud that you were mine. We went to shows and some we won, But many times, we just had fun. Off to the big shows, for the majors were there, It was me and you, and I tried not to despair. All the big names were there, standing straight in a row, With us standing in back, my hands shaking so. The judge called your number, he said move on up, I couldn’t believe that he had noticed my pup. He put us in front and sent us around, I could barely walk, all my heart did was pound. When they handed the ribbon, all purple and white, The tears started falling, and much to my delight. I realized we made it, we done it ok, For my friend and my buddy, was a champion that day.
