Hansuti is named after "Han" Hank "Su" Sue and "Ti" Tim.
I have been raising dogs all my life. We have been owned by Shih Tzu since 1996. We are members of the Fort Wayne Obedience Club. We live in north eastern Indiana on a 46 acre farm with a pond and plenty of room to run. Our main goals are health, conformation, and personality. We are proud of our dogs and their great temperaments. Hansuti's foundation is largely based on lines from Wenrick Req'd.
Hansuti Shih Tzu is an active conformation show kennel. That means we breed primarily to improve the breed and have something to show. My family asked me once why I breed. Sure I breed to have something beautiful for the show ring, but I want to give non-show people the chance to own a top quality shih tzu, not just to see one on TV or at a big dog show. I also like seeing how happy the families are with their new dog. Some of the dogs go on to the show ring, some become therapy dogs or perform in obedience or agility, but most become someone's beloved companion. I love it when owners send pictures or write letters telling how wonderful their puppy is, how proud they are of them, or about the glowing comments from their vet or groomer. Seeing those faces and hearing these stories makes parting with those beautiful creatures worthwhile.

Pets Sold on AKC Limited Registration - Non Breeding Agreement
Hansuti dogs have been seen by a veterinarian. All dog have shots current to age and have been checked for internal & external parasites. They should be healthy and are guaranteed against any hereditary and congenital defects. If for any reason you have a concern that your puppy has a health problem, you must contact us immediately before any treatment or procedures are carried out by your veterinarian. If a serious problem occurs we will replace the puppy when the puppy is returned to us or provide financial compensation. Financial compensation is limited to the original purchase price only. If your puppy dies, a post mortem must be performed by a veterinarian. This information must be provided to us by your veterinarian.
Serious inquires for adult dogs or puppies as family pets are always welcomed. Companion dogs are always sold on a non-breeding agreement (AKC Limited Registration).
We would be happy to answer any questions or setup a time for you to come and see our dogs. We are always proud to show them off.
